19 November – Mapping Sanctuary in Edinburgh
Saturday 19 November 10am-3pm – Edinburgh City Chambers
As more refugees and asylum seekers arrive in Edinburgh, many brilliant initiatives have sprung up to provide a welcome across the city.
This event will provide an opportunity to map out what is already happening to welcome refugees and asylum seekers in Edinburgh, what you think needs to happen next, and to work out the best way to develop co-ordinated initiatives across our city. We will build on conversations begun during previous initiatives such as the Edinburgh World Justice Festival.
Organisations, groups and individuals are all welcome but venue capacity is limited.
Please register interest by Monday 31October.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Childcare is also available but needs to be booked in advance.
The day is supported by the City of Edinburgh Council and City of Sanctuary Edinburgh.
