We are a Church of Scotland parish church, serving mixed rural and coastal communities in Moray. We do what we can to support local and global partners supporting refugees, in practical and prayerful ways
Our statement of commitment:
We believe that everyone is made in the image of God, so is precious and should have the opportunity to enjoy fullness of life.
We believe that we should welcome the stranger, offer hospitality to all, and help others.
We believe that God’s way includes priority for the most vulnerable and a desire for peace and justice.
We should live out those beliefs in our context of Duffus, Spynie & Hopeman parish, within Moray Presbytery of the Church of Scotland.
We should act on those beliefs as a congregation and as individuals.
We commit to being part of the With Refugees Scotland network of Scottish Faiths Action for Refugees.”
