We seek to co-ordinate and promote action by faith communities in Scotland to support asylum seekers and refugees.
Our current work covers four broad areas:
Integration – supporting New Scots and receiving communities across Scotland in learning to live, work and grow together.
Asylum – urging reform of the UK’s asylum and immigration system to ensure more respect for human rights and human dignity.
Resettlement – encouraging faith communities to participate in refugee resettlement programmes and to explore becoming community sponsors.
International – recognising the greatest humanitarian need remains overseas, promoting how we in Scotland can raise awareness and help to respond.
